HDC POLYALL is a Korean-based company, established in 2021 as Joint venture of SK Chemicals and Hyundai Development Company (HDC) to focus on polymerization, compounding and promoting ECOTRAN®, the world's first chlorine-free and eco-friendly Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS).
Since 2020, ALBIS promotes ECOTRAN® PPS compounds in EMEA and China.

Products
ECOTRAN® PPS
ECOTRAN® is the world's first eco-friendly polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin. Using a new, innovative process for PPS resin production, ECOTRAN® offers unique advantages over conventional PPS products: extremely high purity, low outgassing, zero chlorine content and noprocess by-products such as sodium chloride.
Industries
High thermal stability, stiffness, strength and creep resistance coupled with exceptional chemical resistance makes PPS the ideal material to replace metal in structural applications or to be an economical alternative to die-cast alloys.
PPS fulfills the UL94 V-0 standard without the need for using a flame retardant additive.
For this reason, PPS has traditionally been adopted in numerous electronic components such as connectors, bobbins and switches. ECOTRAN® chlorine-free compounds offer the key value proposition in that they do not contain residual NaCl which degrades the electrical insulation of PPS as well as being halogen-free materials according to industry standards.

- Very high continuous use temperature, up to 240°C
- Excellent resistance towards oils, hydrolysis and aggressive chemicals – no known solvent below 200°C
- Inherently flame retardant to UL 94 V-0
- Low tendency to creep, even at elevated temperatures
