INEOS Styrolution is the world leader in styrenic plastics with a focus on styrenic monomer, polystyrene, ABS standard and styrenics specialties.

ALBIS has been working successfully with INEOS Styrolution, originally from BASF, since 1967. We value the trusting and solution-oriented cooperation very much.

In the field of PS and Terluran^® ABS Standard we have been a pan-European distribution partner for many years. Since January 2018, Italy has also been included.

As a longtime license partner of the INEOS Styrolution, we are able to offer customized colorations even in very small quantities under the INEOS Styrolution brand name.

Products

Clearlux®

As of April 1st, Clearlux^® from INEOS Styrolution will complement ALBIS’ European distribution portfolio of transparent products. Clearlux^® comes with FDA and European food approval. Initially, it will be offered in a standard transparent version, with three “smoke topaz” grades to follow soon.

Industries

The Clearlux^® portfolio offers solutions based on methyl methacrylate acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (MABS), also known as transparent ABS. Besides the excellent transparency already known from the Terlux^® and Zylar^® portfolio, Clearlux^® products provide a unique combination of excellent flow, high impact strength, heat resistance and good colorability.
Clearlux^® is not suitable for use in medical applications.

Profile & Characteristics

Clearlux^® is particularly suited for household, sports, leisure and cosmetics packaging applications for instance transparent covers or housings as well as toys and stationery.
