    ALBIS has been working with Syensqo for 20 years as a distributor of Amodel® PPA. Over time we have expanded our relationship with the high performance polymer Xydar® LCP. In 2020 we have added IXEF® HC/GS (PARA) as well as the high performance polymers Kalix® and Omnix® HPPA.

    Omnix®

    Omnix® HPPA is a family of high-performance polyamides that bridge the cost-performance gap between PA66 and higher performing polyphthalamide PPA. With a minimum of 33% of recycled content, consisting of 70% PIR/PCR chemically recycled resin, the new Omnix® ReCycle HPPA is the first-ever PIR/PCR-based HPPA with 50% glass fiber reinforcement. Omnix® ReCycle HPPA displays the same mechanical performance as Omnix® HPPA making it the ideal sustainable candidate for replacing metals.

    In­dus­tries

    With good resistance properties and dimensional stability, Omnix® HPPA offers an economical alternative to die-cast alloys. Typical food contact applications for Omnix® HPPA include appliance handle housings and other structural components.
    Automotive light-weighting applications benefit from the combination of mechanical properties, heat and chemical resistance. 
    Superior flow, great surface appearance and good dimensional stability makes Omnix®  HPPA well suited for structural parts of smartphones, tablets, notebooks, and other handheld devices. Omnix® HPPA also achieves a halogen-free UL 94 V0 flame retardant rating.
