Founded in 2023, Envalior is a global leader in engineering materials, providing innovative solutions for today's world. Envalior brings together DSM Engineering Materials and LANXESS High Performance Materials, two established companies that complement each other perfectly. Envalior markets an extensive portfolio of sustainable materials: in the case of Durethan® Blue (polyamide), for example, a large proportion of the raw materials are replaced by sustainable alternatives, and so the product achieves a lower carbon footprint than comparable products.
LANXESS - until 2005 as part of BAYER AG - and ALBIS have been working together in the field of engineering thermoplastics in a spirit of trust since 1966. Our cooperation is characterized by three pillars: Firstly, the distribution of Envalior products in many countries in Europe and in China. Then there is the tolling business, in which Envalior has orders produced by us and then markets them itself. And the licensing business, in which ALBIS produces and markets the products Durethan® and Pocan® itself.

Pocan®
Pocan® is the brand name used for polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and PBT blends. Pocan® features high heat resistance, strength and hardness, as well as exceptional sliding properties, good wear resistance and chemical resistance, minimal stress fracture risk, and low moisture absorption.
In addition to injection molding variants, there are types for extrusion of semi-finished products, films, and cable sheaths, as well as non-reinforced, fiber glass reinforced, glass bead and mineral filled versions.
We also offer flame retardant and elastomer modified types, products approved for contact with foodstuffs, and blends with acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) and polycarbonate (PC).
