Founded in 2023, Envalior is a leading global provider of engineering materials. The company combines the expertise of DSM Engineering Materials and LANXESS High Performance Materials and offers a broad portfolio of material solutions for a range of industrial applications.

LANXESS, until 2005 part of BAYER AG, and ALBIS have worked together in the field of engineering thermoplastics since 1966. The cooperation is based on three business areas: the distribution of Envalior products in numerous European countries and China, the tolling business, and the licensing business for Durethan® and Pocan®.

Envalior offers selected Durethan® and Pocan® product variants containing bio-based, bio-circular and/or recycled raw material content. For certain mass-balanced variants, the corresponding raw material content may be allocated using the mass-balance approach in accordance with the applicable certification requirements. Envalior further states that certain product variants may have a lower Product Carbon Footprint than the corresponding fossil-based standard grades.
