Independent certification

The ISCC PLUS certification, part of the globally recognised ISCC certification system, ensures environmental and social standards for recycled and bio-circular materials. Controls along the supply chain ensure integrity and traceability. Certification is essential for distributors to market sustainable products and supply certified companies. For instance, mass balance enables clear separation of bio-circular and fossil-derived materials, ensuring sustainability and transparency in polymer manufacturing, distribution, and processing. ALBIS advocates sustainability throughout the entire value chain and has obtained ISCC PLUS certification for supply of bio-circular plastics across Europe.

EcoVadis medal

ALBIS has been awarded bronze in the EcoVadis sustainability rating. This recognises the company's commitment to sustainable practices across all business areas. For instance, the proportion of ALBIS' product portfolio based on renewable resources or recycled materials is steadily increasing, now encompassing over 75 product families. With this rating, ALBIS ranks among the top 35 percent of all companies assessed by EcoVadis. The assessment is based on globally recognized Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards and evaluates 21 criteria across the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement – including the Global Reporting Initiative, the UN Global Compact, and ISO 26000.
