    SKYPET®

SKYPET® is a highly functional, slow crystallizing PET material, modified with lower content of CHDM to achieve optimal crystallization rate. It features excellent transparency, chemical resistance and stretchability. The modification enables lower melt temperatures which leads to faster cycle times. SKYPET® is certified as a 100% recyclable material.

    Industries

SKYPET® can be easily used in a wide range of industrial process such as injection/stretch blow moulding and sheet extrusion. It exhibits excellent processability in thermoforming, especially deep drawing applications. This, including the low crystallization rate, makes it a perfect material for large refillable bottles, cosmetic containers, sheet & film for packaging etc. It is also available in high-melt flow form for thin walls in injection moulding.

    Profile & Characteristics

    • Slow crystallization rate
    • Lower melt temperature
    • High transparency and chemical resistance
    • Deep-draw thermoforming
    • PET-compatible for recycling
    • Selected approvals for food contact and healthcare
